Camp Rock Games
Virtual Rocking:
For this game you need a video game that you can rock out on. If you have a video game like Guitar Hero or Rock Band then plug it in and get rock'n. Even games like Dance Dance Revolution or other karaoke styled games make for an awesome time. Get some friends to bust out a chorus or even rock out on virtual guitar and you are sure to have a great time!

Lyrics:
If you haven't already memorized the entire soundtrack of Camp Rock (or have some guests that haven't memorized it) then print out the lyrics so you can sing along with each song of the movie. (Printable lyrics comming soon!)
POP Quiz:
So you say you’re a Jonas Brothers fan? Maybe you’re having a party for Camp Rock or you listen to their music, but there is only one way to TRULY prove your obsession. You have to take the test! Take the test at your party either as a group or let everyone have a turn filling out the test. These tests can take a long time so make sure to fit it into your schedule. If you need a time-filler then a test is perfect, but if you already have a lot of stuff planned, try something else. Maybe print off the list and have a Jonas Brother game show (with teams or individuals!).

Paparazzi Crazy:
Make sure to take a ton of pictures at your Camp Rock party! Then, once it is over, you can print them out (or get them developed, if you still have one of those cameras :P) and make lots of cool stuff with them. You can make a scrap book of the night. If you are a computer wiz you can add cool graphics like stars and music notes. You can even cut them out and tape them to paper to make V.I.P. passes. Have a Slide show, caption contest, decorate the face with markers, there are a million ideas! But the best part is to take pictures and go crazy and then look at them. And don’t forget…if you snap some cool and fun pictures you can send them to us to display on our awesome Camp Rock Party Gallery!
Jonas Brothers Rules:
This is a card game. You don’t need a full deck to play. Deal out five cards to each player and put the deck in the middle, flip over the top card. The person to the left of the dealer goes first. The point of the game is to get rid of your hand. You can put a card down on the first card as long as it is the same suite. The first person must put down a card of the same suite (if you can’t play a card you must pick one up from the deck - then your turn is over). Once someone wins (by getting rid of all their cards) then the fun starts! The person who just won gets to make up a new Jonas Brother Rule. This is just a rule that everyone must follow throughout the game. If they don’t, they must take a card and skip their turn. You can make any rule you want! Here are some examples.
- Every time a king is played you must say “Hail to King Joe”
- If you play an ace you must yell “SOS!”
- Two’s skip the next player’s turn
- Sevens are wild
- Three means you must say “3,000”
Campfire Stories:
Ok this may seem babyish, but trust me. ..it can be fun! Everyone sits in a circle and one person starts to make up a story about the Jonas Brothers. Get creative and funny! Then after you say a few lines of the story, end it off midsentence at a funny part. Here is an example "And then Kevin walked into a room and saw Nick eating..." The next person gets to pick up the story and add something to it (they can be serious or funny). So they may say "a sandwich" or "a pillow". Keep going around in a circle and add lots of funny stuff. Make sure to leave your story at good part. So don’t end it with "And then Nick said hello..." End it with something like "And then Nick said..." so that way the next person can come up with something funny!
How Much Rock?:
For this game each player will need to keep a careful ear out and keep track of the number of times someone in the movie says "Rock". Players may use a pencil and paper if needed. And remember, the word "Rock" in a song DOESN’T count!
Camp Rock Crafts
Rock in Style:
DinseyChannel.com has an awesome print-out that you can use to iron on to a shirt. All you need is some iron-on transfer paper (you can pick this up at a craft store). Have everyone bring a shirt and iron them on at the party! (Ask for an adult to help if you aren’t allowed to use an iron.)

Rock In Style 2:
If you can’t print out the iron-on, don’t worry! Get some shirts and paint/draw on them. On the front do stuff like Guitars, Music Notes, the Camp Rock Logo, Stars... And then on the back write your name or nick name!
Guitar Cutouts:
Uses some cardboard (cereal boxes are great) and cut out the shape of a guitar for each guest. Have everyone use markers, stickers, sparkles (and whatever else you have) to decorate their guitar. Put their name in the middle of the guitar though with a descriptive title. Do something like Diana the Lead Singer, Keith the Punk Rocker or Martha the Dazzling Dancer. Hang these on the wall for everyone to see and then let them take their guitar home at the end of the party.
Camp Rock Recipes
Camp Mix:
Every camper has got to have a bag of this camp classic. Basically you take a big bowl and mix up all your favorite dry snacks. The most popular combination is M&M’s, Peanuts and Raisins but there are millions of other ways to make it.
Got’a Have S’mores:
Of course no camp adventure is complete without a s’more. You take a graham cracker, split it in half and squish a marshmallow and piece of chocolate in between!
Guitar Cookies:
These cookies are awesome treats and taste delicious. First you will need some chocolate chip cookie dough (you can make your own or get it in a tube from the store). Butter the cookie tray. Now we are going to shape the cookies into guitars. To do this you simply take a large circle and flatten it down, then take a smaller circle and place it a little higher than the first circle but still overlapping it just a bit. Then press these together. Next, take some cookie dough and roll it in your hands to make a long strip. Flatten this down where the neck of the guitar would go. Now you can get crazy and shape it however you like. Follow the cooking instructions on the package (or recipe). Once they are done, decorate it however you like! Frosting, sprinkles, you name it!
Camp Grub:
If you really want to go for that camp feel, then cook up some camp classics like hot dogs and hamburgers. Corn on the cob, and baked potatoes are great also. And don’t forget chips, pretzels and other snacky finger foods.
Camp Rock Decorations
Flying Music:
Take some colored paper and cut out musical notes. Then tape the notes to string and tape the string to the ceiling so the notes hang down. Change the length of the string so some of the notes are higher and some are lower. If you hang these all over the room it looks amazingly cool!
Play That Music:
An important part of setting the feel for a party is music! Play some music from Demi Lovato, the Jonas Brother and Camp Rock. If you don’t have any music already don’t worry. We have you hooked up. There are tons of places to get music for free (and don’t worry it isn’t illegal or anything).
